Frequently asked questions

How does module unlocking work?

The course is eight modules, numbered 0 through 7, taken in order. Module 0 is open as soon as you log in. Each later module unlocks when you score at least 80% on the previous module's quiz. Until then its content stays locked — the lock screen tells you exactly which quiz stands in the way.

Can I retake a quiz?

Yes — retakes are unlimited, and your best score is the one that counts. Every attempt is recorded, so a lower retake never takes an unlock away from you. After each attempt you'll see which questions you missed, with an explanation for each.

Do I have to finish every lesson before taking the quiz?

No. Lesson completion checkmarks are there to track your own progress, and the dashboard will nudge you about incomplete lessons, but you may take a module's quiz at any time once the module is unlocked.

How long does the course take?

Budget roughly 30–40 hours end to end. Modules 0–2 run two to four hours each; the later modules are heavier (four to six hours), and the Module 7 capstone is a project of eight to ten hours on its own. It is self-paced — there are no deadlines, and your progress is saved as you go.

What tools do I need?

A working local dev environment (PHP and Laravel for the labs), plus two AI assistants used throughout the course: GitHub Copilot (in your editor and on the command line) and Claude Code. Free or trial tiers are enough to complete the exercises. Labs ship as standalone starter repos you clone and run locally.

Is there a certificate?

Yes. When you pass the Module 7 quiz — the final gate — the site issues you a completion certificate you can view from your dashboard. A downloadable PDF version is planned for a future release.

How do I get access? Can I share my account?

The course is invite-only: an instructor sends you a personal registration link by email. Accounts are individual — progress, quiz history, and the certificate are tied to you, so please don't share logins.
